Yesterday I set off to NYC with the intentions of picking up some new items for back to school! Back to school always gives me an excuse to do some unnecessary shopping, but hey I'm not complaining. My friend and I decided to stop at a Buffalo Exchange to try and limit the damage in our wallets. Buffalo Exchange is different from other thrift shops because you can sell or trade old clothing in exchange for new pieces or even cash on the spot! Buffalo Exchange is very critical of what they allow to be sold in the stores and everything is in good condition. You can find some amazing pieces there and the stock is always changing! I could have stayed in there for hours. I spotted a few pairs of Jeffery Campbell's and a Free People dress...there are some real treasures in there. If you've never been, next time you're in NYC...pop in!
It was a bloomy day in NYC so I decided to throw on something casual. I knew I would be picking through a lot of clothing so I wanted to be comfortable. I wore a pair of light wash high waisted shorts from American Apparel with this black V-neck from Brandy Melville. I was drawn to this top from the heart cut out on the back; I love unexpected details. Underneath the top, I'm wearing a cream lace bralette. I finished my look with my classic pair of black combat boots & gold geometric earrings.
Hope you enjoyed!
