The day that has been circled on my calendar had finally come--it was October 19th and the 2nd day of Teen Vogue Fashion University. I couldn't wait to listen to some of my role models speak about the industry that I know I'll work in someday. Although you're probably thinking that I had an outfit planned out weeks prior to the event...I didn't. I woke up, scrambled to find something and decided to wear this! I wanted to look professional so I decided on a this black blazer from H&M. I fell in love with this blazer because it has this amazing silver design on the shoulders which makes it so unique. For the rest of my ensemble, I went with a white v-neck leotard paired with a denim skater skirt. I chose the skater skirt because I wanted a girly shape and I loved how the faux-leather detailing on the skirt would accent the black in the jacket. To finish my look, I added a pop of color with a pair of bold red lace up wedges and a pair of simple silver studs.
Are you hesitant to wear color? Try to incorporate pops of color instead of wearing a colorful outfit head-to-toe. Whether you decide on a bright shoe or a colorful bag, adding a bit of color can really add a lot to an outfit!
Trust me, I love black too.
Hope you enjoyed :)
